I am on my thrid Dakota. Two were 5.9s and my new 06 is a 4.7L. with 3.92's. I hear a-lot of people complain that the 4.7L is a dog. I can not agree with that statement. I must have got lucky and got the best one out there. Man does this thing move. I have out run 5.9's, and all I have done with this 4.7L, is give it an CAI and a FlowMaster. I do have a Pax blower on the way.

you will read that alot of people are unhappy. as for me since the day i drove it off the lot the tires still spin. last dyno was 203 at the wheels and 278 ftlbs mods arek/n fipk 3 inch catback, 180 stat. relocated iat sensor and the jet stage 2 chip, running 91/93 octane
