Default letter from Dodge

I have got a letter (Question) from DC today about my 06 Dakota. They had asked if I am haveing any motor power problems, or Tranny problems. They also ask alot of question about the fit and finnish of the inside. Has anyone got a letter from them also ? I have not had any big problems yet as I have only 3,000 miles it. Some of the questions they ask about the tranny, makes me think I might have some problems in due time. Questions such as : unusual noise from tranny when worm or cold. Down or up shifting more than should be when worm or cold. They even ask questions about the windshild : leaking, cracking..... so on and so on. I due love this truck, and I have good power when going up hill's. But, it does down shift alot on hill's, even small one's. Maybe they have recieved alot of complaints, and this is their way of finding out just how many people are haveing problems. I love the small token of their appreciation that they sent. It was a quarter stuck to a piece of paper. Is this their way of saying give someone a call who might care. I take it as a slap in the face. My family has been buying Dodge Trucks since 1947. I have bought three Dodge trucks and all have been bought new. I will stay with Dodge though, as I do not like Ford or Chevy.

It's just a survey. I think everyone does them. It's a way for them to grade themselves. You may also get one from JD Power.

I got the same thing a few weeks ago on my 06 Dak. It is a survey sent to random people for research. I got the same type survey last year on a 05 GM vehicle I had. Just something they do. Dont be so dramatic, just a quarter, I got it too. You are upset over the quarter and would leave the brand of trucks b/c of it but only stay b/c your family since 1947 has been buying them?

You must do theater!

What the hell are you talking about. I am far from being upset over some damn quarter. I do find it funny though. And no where did I state I would leave the brand. I have always been Dodge and will stay that way. BTW QDAKass, you always that tuff at your keyboard.

I would wonder also. I would also save the letter in case anything they asked about came true. As for the other post, not many here are like that! One in every crowd. [sm=icon_stickpoke.gif]
