I have the Laramie and the chrome trim is standard. I wish I had just the painted bumper. If I could had the Laramie without that trim I would ordered it that way. It looks nice but if you do allot of hi-way driving the plastic chrome trim gets blasted and mine is pitting. My grill is also. On my replacement Dak if all is good with it I plan on replacing the Fact, grill with a full stainless Billet set for release this winter. I just wish there is a stainless trim cover to replace the Fact. trim.

Okay here's the story,

The part number for the chrome trim is 55077 648AD. The price I paid is $290.00

It is not a piece that just sticks on with tape, it is a snap in part (read many tabs that snap in) it requires a replacement lower bumper cover that has the slots for the tabs, so if you order the chrome piece be sure to order that part as well.

The bumper cover part with the slots (paintable) is number is 5JL34 TZZAD (for 2005) 5JL34 TZZAF (for 2006). The price I got from the dealer is $297.85

They also have a cover in dark gray (unpaintable) with the slots for the insert, the part number is 5JL38 CD7AD.

Hope this helps.

Doug
