welcome travis, your gonna love your truck. most of us just beat the livin daylights out of them, then you have the occasionall person that has all sorts of trouble. i know my truck is good the day i drove it off the lot spinnig the tires down the street. truck know has 25000 miles on it getting good mileage 18/19 around town 22/23 on the highway at cruise control. still on the same brakes. current mods are iat relocated, 180 stat 3 inch single cat back, k/n fipk. some billete stuff and bed stuff. last dyno run was 203 at the wheels and 278 ft lbs. now that its cooler out current dyno was 214 at the wheels and 298 ft lbs. also i have the stage 2 chip from jet.
i have the corporate rear with the 3.55 and have no problem leaving two nice black strips when ever i want

There is no way my truck will smoke the tires unless it's raining. I have 3:92 rear 4.7 L no mods, fuel miles suck 14 in town 19 hiway.

I swear in the freak builds. Once and awhile, a vehicle sneaks out of the plant as a screaming freak. My 95 Dak 5.2 was a freak. It would blow away Stang GTs with tools in the bed and topper. This 06 HO is a pig rig. Burn tires, I think not.

I was wondering does the 05/06 have some sort of traction control?.....I had a coworker that got a 05 RAM QC 4x4 and could not get his tires to break loose and was told it was the traction control......my 04 SLT 4x2 is easy to spin the tires in fact when I take off if turning I really have to watch it or my rear end breaks loose everytime.

GO GO AIR FORCE !!!

Nope TC on the Daks. If you look at the dash with a flashlight into the idiot light pods, you'll see the international sign for traction control as a non-function display. It is explained in the Dak service manual that it is there because these functions are built into all dashes.

oh thanx a lot...just when we though we could blame it on traction control...you re-enforce that our 2005's are hopeless without mods.... haha
