Default Falling pedal

I have had a falling brake pedal since I got the o6 2wd quad cab. It's at the dealer for the 4th time. They have adjusted the rear brakes, replaced the master cylinder and now changing the booster. It felt like the master cylinder from the begining to me. and the booster tested out for me. Has any one else had this problem?? and what was the solution?

Sounds like a classic master cylinder like you said. I would guess the replacement master cylinder is bad also.

Thats a real posibility. It will probaly take them a few more days to figure that out. it seems like they can't figure anything out unless it shows up on the obd. Still like the truck, just wish it didn't take so much to get it repaired. I realy think that the manufactures such as dodge, ford, chev ect. need to look at there dealers and reintroduse customer service. They could then sell alot more vehicles.

Dealer contacted Dodge they had them replace the electronic proportioning valve= problem solved. Sounds like this could be a regular problem with 2006. Recall soon?

My 2005 QC started doing that after I had the TSB work done for the rear wheel shudder. I took it back and got the same old dealer BS "unable to duplicate customer complaint".

Thats what they told me at first. The second time I broughtit in I told that it was not normal and they would have to prove it to me if it was. They then started to look into it. The second mechanic stuck with it and found the problem. If you look at how this valve works it makes since. Essentialy you are loosing your back brakes when your pedal falls. The fluid is being bypassed back to the master cylinder. They did it by trial and error however i think they could have found it if they would have tested the presures at the bleeders. I,m guessing there is quite a few of these out there, as i noticed there was a complaint of this to NHTS.
