The Dakota price is pretty resonable and hits the 25K range with the loaded SLT model. It's the best affordable V8 around!

I own a 05 Laramie QC. I love it. Drives really smooth compared to my old 99 Sport. Either way, I love the Daks and will probably continue to buy them in the future. My only bitch is, they under power the truck comparatively speaking to some of their other vehicles.
