heres an idea...this goes out to the moderators-----------------
could we maybe have a general board...for whatever we want including complaints and silly posts
and then a tech/performance board for useful info and good questions??? thatd be awesome...then peeple can avoid what they dont want to see.... just a thought?
That's what we have Off Topic for......and the informative parts should be in the 3rd Gen Dakota section.....

Maybe what should happen, is a few of your more informed members should get together and put together a few good informative posts that combo together a lot of basic how-to's, general problems, and simple first mods.....

I think that that could benefit you more then asking for a complete swap around...

ive still gotten NO PMs...[&o]

vtx, no offense to you, but youre been here for a day, and you seem to think that you have a firm grasp of how things are run? I know that regular members cant see things like this (and they probably dont care anyway) but the traffic numbers of DF increase every month...the site is progressively busier, and we are having to frequently upgrade the server to keep up with the traffic.

also, vtx...if youre an experienced member somewhere else that pulls comments about how the site is run, i could point out a few things wrong with that site..especially since i asked for input!

Wish you wouldn't go, your input has been appreciated. Do like I do, skip the jerky threads and concentrate on the ones aimed at us. Meaning the ones with advise and tech tips. You don't see my sig on those bickering threads. Those people come and go. When they come, be patient, they'll go.(lol)

P.S. White26golf is looking for some input on that TPS mod.

I agree, they have the 1st amendment, but you don't have to read it. And in regard to other forums, I am a member of just about all of them, and this one has about 200% more traffic than the rest combined (and I'm talking just the 3rd gen dakota forums). I check them weekly and it is usually the same threads from months ago. Dodge forum I check at least 3 times a day and there is always at least one new thread (when I say new I'm talking newly posted, not previosly covered) Thats for the people that don't like to go back and read previos posts on the same topic. I'm guilty occasionally too, but not as much as others (newbies).
