He's got the plastic drop-in on top of the paint-on...so nobody'll ever really see the paint-on (nor will it really see the elements, either).

I'm not sure what brand mine is, I had the dealer get it installed. It looks like splatered rubber, my opinion is looks great and is the best liner I've ever had in a truck. Their worth every penny. Nothing slides and liner does not remove paint like them old drop in hard plastic ones did.

edit: The drop in that came with my truck is being used to store stuff in the rafters of my garage, kept it only incase I need to haul gravel. Drop-ins only good for sliding materials off.

guys, if you really use your truck(borderline abuse), you will screw up any spray-in liner. I agree thata proffessional spray-in is far superior to the DIY(about $300superior), but neither one of them will resist a shovel point when your scoopin manure out of the bed. BTW I haven't put thedrop in over the paint in. I'mhappy w/ the DIY paint in. It looks as good as the pro job, and it's pretty tough. For light protection, I recommend it. It's cheap and easy to touch-up, too.

i had my rhino liner for 2 years and it showed absolutely no sign of wear at all. i wouldn't use the do it yourselfstuff. i have never seen it look good what so ever and it is deffinately not very thick. Most of the spray on liners have a great warrenty. I know both my rhino and my new linex are life time. I would never use a plastic liner in my trucks. every one i have seen pulled off have rust under them do to the rubbing of the liner on the bed over time.

The construction company my friend works for gets all their full-sizes done with line-x over the rails for $300 per truck. Of course they probably get a fleet discount, I'm considering asking him if he can send mine through as a company truck for that deal
