Default Brake Shudder

Hey is anyone else having this issue? When I first bought my truck I had brake "shudder", took it into the dealer and they "burnished" the brakes which seemed to eliminate the problem. Now six thousand miles later, it's back! what gives? Anyone else out there having this issue and if so what can I do about it?

May be a bad set of pads, loose caliper bolt, bad rotor. I dont consider that 'normal' to do that within 6,000 miles of being 'fixed'. This isnt a rattling glivebox, leaky seal or paint falling off. This is serious, IMO. Just take it back and tell them correct it RIGHT this time (I'm assuming you bought it new).

There are a number of threads about this. I've had the problem, so have others. Read through some of the posts to see what's going on. Seems that some 05's had the problem and I know some 06's do to. 6,500 miles on my truck. Front pads and rotors replaced (at 1200 miles) drums were trued. At 4000 miles, problem came back and drums + rear pads were replaced due to excessive run out. Since that fix, the problem has not come back.

Here's the latest thread,it seems some people have it worse than others and some people have more parts replaced than others, from my last post on that thread, I have the Raybestos drums and need to find time to get them on,https://dodgeforum.com/m_583616/tm.htm
