Default So what about shocks?

Hey everybody. I've looked on this website a couple times but just now registered. Bought a new quadcab4wd HO a few months ago. Mostly happy with the truck but what about those front shocks?? It's almost like there aren't any sometimes. I know these trucks are not sports cars but hit bumps in a kinda fast corner & it feels downright dangerous. My 20 year old toyota trucks handle better! So my question of the day is who all has replaced the front shocks, what all is out there & what do you guys recommend? Thanks!

that's too bad none are available yet. I replaced the ones (all four) on my 02 Dak when I had it with Monroe Reflex, made a huge difference in ride quality

I just stopped by Les Schwab today & yep they don't list any for it. I would think a guy could measure them & come up with something that worked. But for now I'm waiting impatiently for some decent ones to come out. That front end is ridiculous! What was dodge thinking anyway??

The response I got from Monroe Tech is that tooling issues are still being worked out. It is more than just a simple change out. Blame the idiot engineers at Dodge for this one. Don't expect anybody to come out with a front shock for our trucks until early "07 at the earliest. If you want specifics go to www.monroe.com and call or e-mail Tech Support.

One of the VERY few complaints I have about my DAK is the front bounces way to much. I dont care about price I just want the new shocks!!!!! Should we start a mass emailing to some company to so the desire for new shocks?

Good idea. Start with Monroe. I've heard their Reflex shocks are excellent. From my contact with them, fronts are in the works but there are tooling issues which have to dealt with.
