Ive decided that I am going to buy an ARE fiberglass tonneau. I had a century on my old truck, and it would be easier 4 me to get a century bc a dealer is down the road from my house, but i dont like the way the centurys look on the dakota. I like the LSX's and LSII's but I cant seem to find the LSII for the quad cab. do they not make it for the quad cab? oh and its an '06. Another ? is it comes with light or dark grey carpet, does the dark grey come close to matching the dark grey color of a BedRug because I plan on buying that at the same time.

I like how the LSX's light is hard-wired to the truck and not ran off AA batteries. atleast thats how i took it, am i right? My centruy ran off batts and when i took the light apart to replace batts, the housing snapped.

 

also, what are the differences in the LSX and LSII....? i couldnt really find much of a difference

 

pretty much the same, they have different body line and hinge assem. thats why i went with the lo pro. different, smooth no body lines

 

it looks good on your truck, but its too "flat" for my liking....i mean i like it, but its not what imlookin for

 

thanks, i went with the smooth look cause its more california look. also if you look at the other a.r.e. covers for our truck they match the body lines of the hood. since i will be getting a cowl hood if they evr make one, i want to be all set with the cover.

got the LSII on my 2005 Dak Quad. The body lines on the cover match that of the hood-very nice looking. Strong hinges and fits very tight. I did not get the one with the light and keyless as I already have too many damn remotes on my keychain. See my prior post (link) as there is a rebate from ARE mail in now for $75. Check you dealer as many have a $25 instant rebate as well.

 

i wouldnt get keyless, although i would get the light. im prob gunna stop buy a dealer in tulsa possibly this weekend, if not, then i wont be able to till the weekend of sat the 25th...but i most def will stop buy this other dealer in claremore to order my bedrug.
