I think this is a crock, but there is a guy in my class that swears the rear Ram tail lights will directly swap with ours! I'll admit it, that's the one part of the 3rd gen I don't like, well except you can't get a damn CD in the storage compartment without having to turn it sideways!! Please let me know if this it true or not!

I've seen a few Raiders over the last week,I was wondering if their rear lights could be swapped out on to the Dakota,the Raiders had chrome trim on them and didn't have the goggle look,I'm not into chrome but it would be different.

 

I was in NY state hunting this week and I saw a Ram 1500 w/ an Enterprise rental sticker on it. It was sporting a pair of goggle taillights just like the daks. So unless the '07 Rams are coming out w/ wearing rear goggles, I would be inclined to think that the swap would be possible.
I was thinking of the possibility that the Ram may have been rear-ended, sent to body shop, who then mistakenly ordered dak taillights and didn't notice because they popped right in.
Is it a possibility? Anyone know someone w/ a Ram who would be willing to see if the swap can be made?

 

I looked at my buddy at works ram and the lights are much bigger
