I just traded in my Ram 2500 for a '06 Dakota 4x4 quad cab last week. So far I'm liking the more "manageable" size. As expected, not realizing a tremendous savings in fuel consumption. A couple of questions: I have the smaller center console on the "3rd seat" in front. I'm reading about another power outlent in there. I can't find one. I'm assuming it's in a model w/ a different front seat configuration (larger center console/no third seat). Also, I find the interior extremely lacking in space to store small stuff. (tiny glove box, center console, under rear seat storage, etc.). Anybody come up w/ a solution to store the stuff that inevitably ends up in our trucks? Thanks....

 

I think the power outlet your looking for is in the optional bucket seat configuration. That is what is in mine any way. Storage sucks, the lower door panel has a spot to store small items.

 

yea mine is a CC with buckets and huge center console and extra power plug,plus I have door pockets front and rear.the console comes in real handy.

 

i have the center console with the extra power outlet. dont use it all. also my truck has no ash tray or cig. lighter. i dont care because i am not a smoker, but first truck i ever owned with out one. also i have another power outlet were the cig lighter should be.
