Don't get butt-hurt, I am not trying to be antagonistic. I am simply saying my opinion. I think that neon lights should be classified with the flame stickers, APC stickers, glow in the dark shift *****, throttle body spacers, ect. If it doesn't make your truck more gas efficient, faster or lightweight, then I personally believe that it shouldn't be added or replaced. Is the next step glowing windshield washers dispensers?

Oh, and turbot_bird, if you are going to have those lights in the grill, you might as well spell something out with them... like "Merry Christmas" or "HO HO HO" or even better "Get the hell out of my way!" LOL!

No, actually, its creates quite a hinderance towards optimal gas milage. However, I have my truck setup for off-road use; and those stock tires you use wouldn't be of use for me. Where I go, I need at least 2 feet of ground clearance in the front, not to mention the grip that the bfg tires I have provide. The point of my previous post was to talk some sense into people who are mounting christmas lights behind their grill. Night Runner, why would you feel it necessary to become combative with me? Are you upset because that throttle body spacer you bought isn't putting to power to the ground? I stick with everything I said in my post. As you can see from the above posts, it seems that the majority of people who are posting pictures in this thread are going for more of a street rod look than off-road. So I was simply continuing on that genre of truck. I hate stupid, pointless, degrading fights on the internet. This forum is meant to help people with their trucks, plain and simple. So please "think before you speak" with your next thread.

And for the record, gass is spelled "gas".

1st off, i was messin with you so get your panties out of a wad. 2nd of all, you truck is set up for off-roadin right? what happens when you get stuck and your back wheels are spinnin? wheres your winch, why not have a winch, especially if you dont have 4 wheel drive? and why not have 4 wheel drive if your gunna be offroading? is your truck some super special superman truck that flies out when in a sticky situation. let me guess, you keep a red bull in the bed? and ya, you got a lot of torque there with that 3.9 liter there dont you? you can do what? make it up a 5 foot incline of 2 1/2degrees. real nice set up for off roadin buddy. i bet you do some hardcore ****

So please "think before you speak" with your next thread.

Am I the only one who can see here that you are a complete moron? I am not getting into a pissing match with a 16 year old kid who had their daddy buy them a truck. I use my truck for desert racing, and my 1999, beat to ****, lifted dakota will take your brand new one any day when we step off the pavement. Ain't that some hardcore ****?

P.S. When you and Daddy were out buying your shiny new truck, I was at home with your Mommy.

I think she is too. the check engine light came on as soon as pulled her into the shop ready to put her away.

oh well... she'll be out next year with a 2" lift , another new heatercore and 2 new o2 sensors.

and hopefully next winter I can drive her. and finnally have some fun in the snow.
