RE: My First truck
i went to the dealer and bought one right off the lot been beating it since day one , now has 30000 miles on it and has never been back to the dealer, same brakes and fluids except for the oil. have no problems with mine 05, 4.7 club cab.i think the people with problems might have babied there truck from the start. if you show it whos boss then it will take care of you.

I got me a 4.7l Quadcab, lovwe the dern thang, just got BFG All Terrains on it today in fact...now if you plan on keeping the truck a long time (through marriage and you-know-what-comes-next) then get a quadcab...more of a family truck with the roughness of a truck...I love my quadcab, gives me space to not only haul stuff, but haull all my friends too

Hey Jimbo - you mentioned you put on the BGFs A/T - I checked ur car domain page but I guess no pics yet as you just put them on. Do you have any pics with ur new tires on? Did you level the truck with the front level kit? Lastly, what size did you go with?
One thing I noticed on ur page was that you installed a horn with a huge blast - air horns by any chance? I put on Hadley air horns, complete with it's own air storage tank and compressor - and when I let those things rip people know it!! just as living in CA can be hectic on the roads, living in NY isn't really any different....
