05+ fog lights add-on

I want to add the factory fog light kit, end of the instructions state I need a starscan tool to activate lights with the front module. Anyone experience this yet.

you need to take it to the dealer, and they will activate you computer to run them.

On my 2006 I just installed them and they worked. I did mot have to take it to the dealer to have them activated.

I've heard both sides. If they dont work when you install them, then I guess take them to the dealer to have them check it out
