Anyone done this? whether to raise or lower the truck?

This part may sound dumb,but our trucks have torsion bars with the new front suspension,correct?

 

what are torsion bars!? I saw these in another post and woah new term to me...creepy frenchy...just creepy

 

no, we do not have torsion bars, those are on previous models, by cranking on the bars, you can get about an inch to an inch and a half of front lift.

Ya, that's what I was figuring with the new front end suspension.

Oh well.

 

Torsion bars will also only on 4x4 models, 2wd had the coil-over suspension. One thing I wish the older 4x4 had....mmmm coil-overs.....

 

Twiztid, I just want to clarify. The gen2 had a coil system, yes; however, not coilover. A coilover system allows for adjustable suspension height, where a coil simply sits around a shock, inside the control arms. I just wanted to make sure people weren't getting confused.

 

Hmm, did not know that. I never looked at my 2wd that much, kept it pretty much stock.
