With key off, buckle belt, key to on (not started) wait forseat belt light to go off, unbuckle and buckle 3 times ending with it buckled then turn key off. You will hear a chime.
If it doesn't work using 'not started', do as Frenchy said - w/truck started.
Dash seatbelt light light will still stay on, but chime's gone!

I turned mine off, as when I turn into my neighborhood, I like to unbuckle. But everywhere else I remain buckled. The directions in the owners manual works..
