Default HO Intake

Has anybody tried to put in the aftermarket HO intake? I was told that we pretty much have the HO intake in our daks. Anybody hear anything different/same?

I talked to Dan at SoCalDakota and he said that the Intake manifold is the HO manifold. DC did that for the 05+ Daks instead of putting in the regular intakes. It's only $185 for the HO that they have. It doesn't make sense to me, maybe he said something different. When I talked to him, it was noisy in his background.

I have been wanting some info on this myself, my 05 H.O. And ithas a K&N filter and intake tube, I have been wondering if Dodge decided to do that as a stock item or if it was installed aftermarket?

If anybody can clarify this for me I'd appreciate it!

according to www.allpar.com the newer daks come with the ho intake. thats why my conversion kit with the cams were a matched set. also the fullsize with the 4.7 have the intake also. easier for dc to make one style. saves money
