It's a nice set, and I've seen other people with them, but, and I guess a functional hood would be in order, you'd think that it would be hot air going in, lots of hot air.

 

of course it would the filters are right above the exhaust manifolds. something like that would be good for a car show or something. they would work great if the ram air hood was installed

 

From what I read in the link provided, cool is only used twice. Once to discribe the sound this makes, and than:
"Our products are designed with a fine-polished aluminum tubing that allows cooler, smoother, and massive air intake "
Overall, it looks like this is being sold on the premise of being able to have more air move though it.

 

i would think it would bring in more hot air becaus if you dont have working hood scoop, the only place to get air from is in the engine compartment...but i haven't a clue, maybe it does suck it in in such a way it cools it lol

 

I emailed them and asked if the can extend the tubes down and up closer to the radiator. I should hear something back in a couple of days. That'd be an interesting set up.
