hahahaha turbo_tbird you are a genius, yes I am building a custom toolbox for the bed of my truck.This is only the beginning, it's going to have many compartments in it instead of just one big one. It'll have a fire extinguisher in it, a first aid kit, small compartments for computer parts (network cable plugs, screws), and one compartment to put things like my heatgun, jigsaw and drill. AND it will be removable for when I need more cargo space.

 

ha ha thats the only thing I could think of that would use wings on the side lol

 

Yeah it's going to get sealed in the end, thinking of using urathane (spelling?) and then I will be painting it black with about 3 clear coat layers.

EDIT: I used this wood because I'm familiar with using it. My dad and I for years have built different things out of wood, I didn't want to go with metal, dont have the tools to bend and shape it anyways
