Default Fuel Additives

Does anyone use fuel additives? If so which one and do you notice any improvements? What about using HEET or some other gas-line antifreeze in the winter. I'm just being curious since its -4 out here in Chicago so I'm not doing a damn thing until Monday when I have to go to work.

You can also try Redline, or V-MAX. I'm looking into trying one of thse two. They're suppose to clean out the entire system with one use.

Save your money. Just don't let your needle drop below half before you refill. If you are in the habit of letting fuel refills go until you are below 1/4 tank, that's when you run the risk of condensation forming in the tank and gas line freeze ups. As far as fuel system cleaners go, the suggested STP fuel injector cleaner is a good idea every other oil change

well they say by not letting the tankrun less than 1/2 the full pump will last longer. the gas really keeps the pump from heating up

lol it sounds like i use it too much. i use 1 stp injector cleaner about every 3 tanks, i run 89 most of the time, but if my dad gives me his card and tells me to fill up (about once a week, when i come home from school) ill use 91.

I let it drop to about a 1/4 tank and put a bottle of Seafoam into the tank. Let that run for a bit and then fill the tank.
