SNOW!!!!!!!!!!
We have had one snow storm per week for the last 8 weeks straight, ranging anywhere from 4 to 24 inches, and the truck has performed pretty well. The only complaint that I have is the soft front suspension. It's bad enough to get it bouncing on dry pavement around a corner but it really sucks when it does that on ice and snow!
just north of Detroit,MI...we've had one of the least snowy years i can remember. We got about 4-10" yesterday (really hard to tell with the wind, some spots are bare, and some spots have 3 foot drifts). I think we've seen about 5" all season until that point, and most of it was gone shortly after it fell, so it was nice for a change. My lease is up on my Dakota in May, and the whole reason i got it (besides that its nice and i got a helluva deal) was i had a little ford focus before and the 2 winters i had with it were really snowy. So much for that! Plus its been killing me because i have a Dodge Ram SRT10 that i put away before Thanksgiving Day and really, winter didnt end up starting here until about mid-January. We had snow October 12th (first time the tigers make the playoffs in some 19years, hell froze over and shared some snow), but yet we had 50 degree weather through January. Man, WHAT GIVES!
Either it better keep up with the snow or go back to 50 degrees, either way, mother nature needs to change her tampon, haha
Keep truckin'

I live south of chicago and we got about 8 inches where I live, but the snow drifts approached about 3 feet in some parts of the nearby parking lot, so I put the truck in 4X4 mode and hit the snow doing about ten, and had no problem, bumped it up to around 20, no prob, 30 no prob, 40 the snow starting building up underneath the truck. But yeah the truck can make it through its share, i just can't wait until spring to see how much mud it can take.
