Default 3" body lift with Manual Tranny?

I was thinking of getting a 3" body lift kit for my 06, v6, 6-spd manual tranny dakota. I am hesitant to order though because I heard that with a standard tranny, you cant really do this. Is this true? Is there a kit that comes with some sort of adapter or extension that will let me on a manual truck? Or better yet, is there a cheap suspension lift solution that is in the $300 range like a body lift kit?

Thanks.

I talked to Performance Lifts about it, and what they told me was they currently dont have an adapter for the shifter, but they are working it and hope to have one by the end of summer. Other then that, I've seen thatChassis Tech has a 4" lift for $999. They dont show it on their website, but I've seen it advertised in a few sport truck magazines.

Get ready to run into all kinds of little problems like this. Gas inlet hose will most likely have to be lenghtened, brake lines lenghtened, steering extension, bumper adjustments, blah blah blah.
