Quad cab owners, what would you pay?
Hey guys, I am wondering if these sub boxes will be worth making. How much do you guys think these boxes are worth?
The sub box goes behind the rear drivers side seat. Basicly like the mtx thunderform placement. it is a custom fiberglass enclosure that holds a single 10 inch woofer.
Keep in mind that I will have about 12 hours of labor and $50ish in materials into each box. they will be a sealed 10 inch sub enclosure. for the sake of simplicity, they will hold a sub that is 5 1/2 inches deep. (certain 6 inch deep subs will fit, but it depends on what magnet surround is used, and how big of a megnet it is.)
so the list of subs includes JL 10W1v2's 10W1v1's JL 10W0's, Alpine Type E 10's, Alpine Type S 10's. Polk MOMO 10 SVC's, Polk DB 10's, directed Extreme 10's. Sony Xlplod 10's Rockford P1's and P2's... and more, but that is what I have looked at online and measured at the shop... if you post up your sub dimensions I will let you know if it will fit or not... (top mount depth, and magnet width.)

I bought a quad cab for one reason, and it was not to put a sub box in the back, it was so that I could fit passengers in the back for when I go traveling.

Jimbo, this goes behind the seat, so you could still have people ride...
anywhoo, the thread is to see if there is enough interest... if not, no biggie. I thought I would throw it out there though. incase people didnt want to spend 300 at crutchfield for a box and switch the sub out...
I will get a pic of it wrapped tomorrow if I remember.
