the SQ trim is a smaller charger than the S trim, and the cost is considerably less.
This is a rough estimate of cost, but I think it can be done, and work.
Vortech SQ trim supercharger: $2106.95
Custom Aluminum mandrel bent intake pipes: $75.00
Misc. Couplers and reducers: $40.00 (I am going for high side here)
Metal to make your custom S.C. braket. $50.00
K&N Universal Conical Filter: $68.99
68.5MM Throttle Body: $180 w/$80 core... (we know thefastman)
Optional addons:
Walbro in-tank fuel pump: $89.99 (255lph) Recommended
Larger injectors... (can somebody tell me if they make them yet?)
Total kit: $2610.93 (with the fuel pump.)
This doesnt include shipping on the parts, and you would want larger injectors so you could get more fuel... but from teh sounds of KRC performance, you should be able to bolt it onto a stock engine and go...

I have been thinking about it... and I think injectors from the H.O. dump more fuel... not sure how much more though.
Frenchy, are you sure they are the same? if so, summit has some for the gen 2's I think...

The cams look like a nice gain across the band, and are much cheaper... but a charger has the potentialfor a lot more power in the long run. IDK... I will prolly do cams first, but I will add a charger down the road. Maybe next years income taxes...
now lets talk warrenties. i already had my truck done at 30000 miles with little or no fuss. what happens when you need to go in for a tranny flush or something stupid and they look under hood?

Look for parts for any of the 4.7L Magnum engines, they are all internally the same. So if you fine larger injectors for like, an 04 engine, they SHOULLLLLLLLLD fit yours.

Yup, I knew I was forgetting something... F.P.R.... good call...
As far as a warrantee goes... if you do cams, your in the same boat. people who do these mods should know they are not doing themselvs a favor in the eyes of DCX...
I am looking into it as I am already at 13571 as of shutdown tonight... I will chew through that 36K in no time... as soon as warr. is up, its my baby for service...

Believe it or not, I have 32,8xx on mine. That's after two years of driving it solid. I didn't intend on it getting so high up. The good thing is that I've changed the oil in November at 30,000 and it's March now and I only have the 32,8xx. Maybe I'll be slowing it down a bit as far as driving it.
