Hey everyone. I'm off today and this afternoon I am installing my new K&N 63 series air charger on my 06 v6 3.7l dakota. I'll take some pics when its all done. No one has had any problems or anything with there kits right? I know there top notch but i just wanted to make sure, or see if anyone had any advice on them. Later.

and be sure to have every little nut, bolt, washer, and part available and within site while your doing the install - I couldn't find a little nut and bolt, which led to me rigging up the system with another nut and bolt - only to find the right one after I was finished.....

About the IAT sensor, and this is something I almost missed, note on the instruction sheet that before reinstalling the sensor in the supplied grommet, you must remove the little o-ring on the sensor.Do not throw it out in case you decide to go back to stock at some future time.

You shouldn't have any problems. just be careful with the IAT sensor. its cheap plastic and will bend/break if your not gentle with it.

OK. Done. Really easy, and I took the advice of putting it together on the table. Good advice. The install Would have taken one hour, instead it took alot longer. The problem was the gromit for the IAT sensor. there was no way the gromet was deep enough to properly sit in the thickness of the pipe. This gromets original design musta been for the thinner thickness of the metal pipe. I got it to stay, but it always either wanted to pop out or in. even without the iat sensor, it still had trouble staying in. Luckily, there is a piece on the stock intake box that is JUST like the gromet, just deeper and a tad bigger. With alot of elbow grease u can manage to squeeze it on the IAT sensor, all the way to the back of it, just before the female part of the plug. It fit in the hole nice and tight and like a glove. It took me over an hour to find this little solution. It works and looks great now, ill post pics.
