Jet stage 1, what did you get out of it?
That actually sounds about right...I usually get 13 mpg or so if I don't baby it and stay off the interstates. Try unloading, hopping on the highway, and setting the cruise to 65-70 mph and see what happens....I bet, not even broken in, you'll get 16 mpg or so.

not yet... and it looks like hypertech and superchips dont care about us... I think its B.S. but oh well...
Oh yeah... I might be selling the stang. I was offered a pretty good deal. Any Idea if they are selling used Charger R/T's yet? I love those cars... I just dont want to shell out 36-40 for one. for that type of money, I could have a BAD 06 mustang GT...
Kinda off topic.. I know.

I dont know, I am still thinking about selling it. I have a lot of time, money and track time in that car. my first real project...
Dusty, the g-tech is not exactly the most accurate thing. thats why I want track time.
Instead of giving me crap about it, get one and run it. I dont know what the real world numbers will be. I didn't claim it was a track run, or a dyno run. I ran teh truck befor I installed it, then I ran it after. I posted the times and numbers the g-tech had. (sorry I didnt have a third hand for a stop watch)

Idk I get 16mpg in my truck but its a little lighter because its only a CC not a QC plus its a manny so I can keep the RPMs low...I don't drive crazy, but I ain't no granny either lol...
I think you'll find that the ones getting the best mpg are the ones that have modded their trucks some, or just drive like a granny. Getting 16-17 mpg in a totally stock truck is pretty average.
rookie, just let your truck break in some....the mpg's will go up. Also, you can try shifting around 2000 rpms for a tank or two to see how it responds. I have a manual, too, and that's right about where I shift and get 16-17 mpg.
Eric...get that Charger...those are sweeeeeeeet cars. Would've been a close 2nd choice if the whole Dakota deal hadn't worked out. What year 'stang do you have?

i'm not really complaining. I know milea5ge depends mostly on how much youpush the gas. Shifting early feels pretty good in this truck; plenty of low end. go fas r save gas, one r d other!
