was surfing the web and came accros these pics. i have seen one of these before but not the lifted dak

SuperDak, if you look at the first picture it is not a Dakota. The dimensions are wrong(headlights too small and grille too round). It appears to be a Durango from the B-Pillar foreward and the bed of a midsize(most likely a Dak). Just thought you would like to know.

thanks. i searched it farther and it says skunkworks durango. but i still think it looks good. much nicer then the new 08 frt end

Yeah, the second one, Dakota Warrior, has been around for a while...I wanted to go see it at the LA Auto show but I guess they didn't bring it there this year, and I wasn't invited by my friends to go...so yeah I wonder if they'll do one similar to it in the 08 model design...

That lifted Dak is probably one of those "untouchable" Daks modified by some private company.... when I had my Protege there was a company out there who modified the hell out of it for their own advertising, but the products they used never made it to the consumer market.
but DAMN that Dakota Warrior truck is HOT

your correct. they build these things and never put any of it into production. they get the people that own the stuff all hoped up and can never seem to find any of the parts
