I am trying to find the part numbers for front springs for a quad cab trx4 dakota, but I need the last 9 digits of a vin to find the correct one's. Anyone want to share thier last 9? The TRX4 claims a 1" higher ride height, my parts guy thinks it is the springs.
I will post the #'s when I get it.

You sure that the tires arent taller? That could give it a larger ride height. 1" isnt worth the work of swapping the springs. I got a 1.5" lift from swtiching to 265/75-r16 tires. I also have a 2 inch lift int he front and the rear. The leveling kit would be alot cheaper then the springs. (if thats what u planned to do)

 

We measured spring seats on a club cab 4x4 SLT vs a CC 4x4 TRX4 and it was 7/8" taller, tire height is the same. That's why he think it is the springs there are like 12 different spring #'s, need the VIN to find the correct one. I am not crazy with my 2" Trailmaster kit as I think I am experciencing spring binding on big bumps and looking for a batter way.
