Default Decoding Option

Hey guys,

I'm two months into my '06 4.7L, 4X4 auto and loving EVERYthing (except the fuel economy of course, but its worth it . Bought it used with 15K miles on it and for once in my life drovea pretty good deal on it from the dealership's used lot.

Anyway, they were pretty crappy during the process which I chalked up to just not getting the money for it that they wanted. One of the things I asked for was a complete options list for the vehicle, which I was supposed to get a couple days after the deal but its been nothing but the run around and I figure they don't feel like they can be bothered now that the deal is done (my fault for not getting everything I wanted before making the deal).

Anyway, I've done the VIN decode thing, but it doesn't seem to list things like tow package, LSD, etc.

So my question is, what can I do to get this figured out? I'm PRETTY SURE it has the tow package. The wide mirrors, both wheels seem to spin in gravel, rain, dry, etc...

But I'd like toget together a complete list of how the truck is configured. Rear end ratio, any dealer options, etc. I know its sort of **** retentive but its the newest truck I've ever owned and I'd just like to know everything I can about it.

Anyone know of some way I can get more information about my truck configuration?

Thanks in advance,
Martin

Default RE: Decoding Option

did you go to www.allpar.com and use the vin decoder? yopur truck might still be too new to have all the info on it. also open up your glove box and look at the back. there should be a sticker that has info about your truck there. it should tell you your gear ratio and what typr of rear it has. also keep checking hiding spots they have stickers and stuff everywhere that has truck iinfo on them. under the rear seats and in the rear door holders. its just a matter of finding them
