MOnkey you're smart, this was a great Idea to show the difference, I've never seen a real side by side pic of those before. I didn't buy any of the things because I was skeptical, but now that I see the difference, it looks great! Which leveling kit did you get again?

I think he got the trailmaster suspension one, what im going to do is put the TRX4 shocks in my 06 for 1" and then put the 2" level kit and a 2" block kit in back and then add 285/75/16, every tire shop and even my dealer have said they will fit. Will take a few months but i will post some pics in here of it when it is complete. Am wondering if i need to can i get another inch lift up front with my torsion bars, kinda a car dummy i just know what i want it to look like.

There are no torsion bars on these trucks.

They have coilover front suspensions.

any of you guys running 265 75s(32s) or bigger, notice that it hurts your performance? It's basicly like having a taller gear. I'm looking at running 32s or so, and i couldn't get the 3.92 rears with my 6m. I'm worried that the trucks going to, in effect, be geared a little to high for heavy towing and steep off roading. hate to be hard on my clutch.

I have the 32" and to be honest I didnt notice a difference at all. Not in power, fuel mileage or anything. I'm sure its there, just not enough for me to notice.

The more I look at your truck the more I'm starting to like the raked look with the 2" blocks. You just bought the generic blocks at the auto parts store correct?

that looks like a power wagon parked beside a 2x dakota! FBA!! The pictures almost convinced my wife that i neeeeeeed lift and tires. I went out in some slick red clay wearing my oem 245 70 16s last weekend. Very disappointing, even w/ the lsd. The truck wouldn't climb out of three inch ruts. How many miles can I honestly expect to get out of good mud tires? Not all terrain. MTs.
