My theory is that they were using the onboard power inverter to power float accessories and blew the fuse, then replaced the fuse with a higher amp fuse or even jumpered the fuse socket. Just a shot in the dark without any details though.

Whatever the cause not very good PR for their baby. I would probably suspect after market mods but again we dont have proof. If it was isolated event and Chrysler was at fault they will try to make it quietly go away.
