Default "three car" icon on touch screen, what does it mean??

Hi all, we just got the 2011 Citadel and in the process of figuring out all the bells and whistles. There is a icon on the top right hand side of the nav/audio touch screen that we can't figure out what it means. It looks like 3 cars and it typically is green but sometimes turns red. We have looked in the owners Manuel and watched the DVD but no mention of the icon, does anyone know what this icon means??

Thanks!!

I think means traffic from your xm. Green means roads clear and red means heavy traffic ahead. I would think so that's what it means. Not sure neither

The 3 overlapped cars is the status of the XM traffic subscription. If it is green, the sub. is active; if it turns orange/red it is not active or didn't receive the signal.

The traffic service overlays the red, yellow, green lines on the roads to indicate traffic speeds and the incident screen will tell you what is going on where.

great thanks for the responses!! The 3 overlapped cars have always been green so far except when we first start the car. I will pay attention next time we are driving in traffic. Pretty cool!

Thanks!!
