Default Python 5902 and The Durango Crew

I'm pretty new here as I just bought my 2011 on July 6th, 2011. Before that I had a 2003 Gen I. I had just purchased and had installed the Python 5902 on my Gen I when I lost the engine. I had been looking for an excuse to buy a 2011 anyway so I can't say that I was heart broken at all. I had the Python uninstalled and would like to have it installed on the 2011 as the range is 4 times the factory FOB and the talk back to the remote is something I have become quite used to as I don't have to guess if it started, locked etc.

Anyway, I have a couple of questions about the 5902 and the 2011 model and I was hoping someone out there has a few answers.

With a DB-ALL module (made by DEI) I am told I will still be able to use the enter and go feature on the Durango. I will still have to have my Key FOB on me but that is no big deal. They say the system should talk to the alarm and disarm it when I enter the vehicle. Does anyone have a setup like this and is this in fact the case?

I am also told that the Python remote start should work as well but I am not sure of the take over procedure after entering the vehicle... The procedure used to be - turn the key before hitting the brake - When hitting the brake, the remote start was disengaged so if the key wasn't turned it would die. With the enter and go feature you hit the start button and the brake at the same time so I am not sure how this will work. Does any one know?

Have any of you had an after market alarm added and if so what have your experiences been?

Any insight would be greatly appreciated as I would love to have the 5902 installed but not at the expense of loosing any of the features of my new baby...

I realize that I am trying to have the best of both worlds here but that often seems to be the case.

I work for car audio shop where we sell and install dei products, and from my experience push button starts and remote starts do not work well together. The shop where I work at, we will not touch a push button start anymore. Just to many problems. But I hope you good luck if you do have it put in.

Thanks for the input... I may give it some time and see if DEI will get their act together with the new electronics in these cars...
