Update: Front Tow Hooks '13 Citadel
Front tow hooks are being installed today and oh boy what an adventure it has been.
There are two ways to buy the tow hooks, piece by piece or as a kit, and the kit is way cheaper. I'll post the part numbers in my next follow up.
Was your D built for tow hooks from the factory? Well it seems the '13 D was built with two different "bumper plates", one designed for tow hooks and one that was not. Mine was built with the NOT bumper plate. The parts manager told me the only time a D is built with the tow hook bumper plate is when they install factory tow hooks, another words no D is built with the correct part from the factory. I don't know if this is true or not.
I was sold the D with an understanding I needed tow hooks and was given a price by the parts manager and service manager before I finalized the purchase of the D. Good thing the parts manager had written down the details on the back of one of his business cards otherwise it sounded like they were going to deny the conversation took place.
When I went to have the tow hooks installed the cost $1000 and they had no solution the get the price down to what I was told before I bought the D. I asked the parts manager to contact a regional manager and I called the Chrysler Customer Service number.
So I waited a day to be called back by the parts manager and told "they" would pay for any parts needed beyond the tow hook kit (which was $180). Total for the install was going to be $335. Not sure how much of the extra costs are being paid for by the dealership or Chrysler, but they had to special order a bumper plate and I will list that part info later as well.
Update: Tire Upgrade
So far... I love the new D. The 275/55R20 Firestone Destination ATs have been flawless since being road force balanced with a FINGER adapter for the chrome clad wheels. Everything else about the D has also been excellent (knock on wood).

Just picked up my first Dodge, and first Durango! It's a 2011 Crew V6. I have to say, that I'm mightily impressed with this vehicle. My wife and I zeroed in on the Durango, so we could pull our new travel trailer, a small Riverside Retro 150, and figured the V6 would be more than enough for such a lightweight trailer. I will say, that after a few test drives, I'm convinced that the V6 really has a lot more punch than I expected for a vehicle this size/weight, and pulling our small trailer should be no problem. I still have to delve deep into all the touchscreen setup/settings and other things, but WoW, what a great riding vehicle - smooth, quiet, and great handling! I'm looking forward to getting to know all things Durango!

Matches my Kuat bike rack perfectly (didn't plan this, but serendipity is always welcome)

Hi all, I had a 2011 a couple of years back as a rental and fell in love with it. I remember saying, if there is anything that is going to get me out of my Infiniti, it's going to be this Dodge.
A couple of weeks ago i was in an accident that resulted in my G35 being totaled out. I found a 2013 with just over 11k miles, V8 and towing package and jumped on it. I couldn't be more thrilled! I LOVE MY Durango!
