That's because that isn't the optional center console, that there is the standard floor cover for the captains chairs if you don't order the center console.

That's correct the "mini" console or cup holder is standard. You get the arm rests on the captain chairs and the cup holders on the floor. The giant one complete with cup holders and storage is optional. You don't get arm rests in the chair, the console serves as your arm rest. We wanted an isle in the middle so little kids can just walk to the 3rd row. So we went with the standard.

So see what the optional console looks like, watch this video. At 49 sec the camera pans in to look at the 2nd row cap chairs and center console.

Hello all Durango owners,
I just purchased a new 2012 Citadel, stone white with tan interior, Hemi, tow package, rear captains chairs with storage arm rest and dvd entertainment system.

I'm looking foward to reading all about tips, tricks, mods, and DIYs on this forum.

Is there anything I should know about the Hemi Durango off the bat?

Pictures to come...

Cheers,
Paul

Welcome aboard. I hope you do a little searching and reading on here. There is a lot of information available but lately there have been a lot of similar threads that have been rehashing the same things over and over.

We went with this option so that our little ones can just walk to the 3rd row without having to lift any chairs. The Durango replaced our 2007 GMC Acadia which also had 2nd row captains chairs. My Audi Q7 S line now has real competition with the Durango RT!

I also got my Sharkfin antenna. Will install that this weekend. Also got 22" black gloss Factory Reproduction Viper Reps on order (they're backordered 45 days!).

Welcome, looking good in white. Diggin the Q7 as well, we had a TDI when my wife's A5 was in the shop. That truck was alot of fun, not cheap though!
