Gen3 Assembly Plant
Since some of the Gen3 guys don't get over to the Gen1 Durango section, here is my repost from the recap of a trip we just took with my club to the home of the Gen3 Durango at the Jefferson North Assembly plant in Detroit.
Over the year, hope to engage with you guys enough to get with me next year for another trip to Dodge Durango "Meca." As some of the Gen2 guys can tell ya (right FF!?!), I love all things Durango regardless of the model. Be it the All Chrysler Nationals with as many Durangos as we can get or a trip to Detroit to experience the production of the latest car we all love, I live and breath the Durango.

Sorry I missed posting this weekend, I was busy at Chrysler's JGC/Durango Assembly plant, the Chrysler Museum and the Woodward Dream Cruise in Detroit.
AND... why yes that IS my Durango sitting INSIDE the Chrysler assembly plant right next to the brand new Durango's fresh off the assembly line and the Dodge brand manager and corporate brass in our midst.
CHECK OUT this great recap here at Modern Mopar Magazine. http://www.modernmoparmagazine.com/wp/?p=409
The great writer and lead contributor for the magazine, Scott Vandekerckhove, spent some time with me and my pals.
What'ca think gang? From a Durango perspective, yea... I do feel like a rockstar.

Hope to include some of you next year!
It was my honor to have my Durango on display inside the Assembly plant with brand new Gen3 Durangos flanking me.
And then to have the staff and workers all around, simply speechless when you are a Durango-geek like me.
Any Gen3ers hooked on your vehicle yet with Durango-geekdom?

From the post I added on the Gen1 section...
Right now our club event at Woodward is the main story on the homepage of http://www.redlinedodge.com/ If the homepage story gets moved, here is the full URL: http://www.redlinedodge.com/2011/08/...-dream-cruise/
For those that don't know, RedlineDodge.com is the official blog of Dodge themselves.
In the slide show... my Durango is to the passenger rear of the red flame 800HP Durango in the outside group photo. It is also pictured in the slide show. That blue underhood shot, that’s my Durango. I am the far left RamAir hood-visible Durango in the group photo with the Chrysler logo on the floor and far top next to the white Gen3 on the photo from the rear.
