Default Radio Receiption??

nooooob here.... just purchased my '11 heat last week. has anybody else noticed bad fm radio receiption?? As i am driving it will go from a clear sound to a dull sound. only happens on FM. not sat or ipod.. i have the mygig touch screen with no nav.

FM signals tend to weaken when you are around a lot of above ground electrical lines and other electrical interferences. Do you live in a city or do you live around a lot of power lines?

I have not heard of this issue before. If you want to PM me with your VIN I can check and see if there are any TSB's out there for your particular model and option packages.

I understand. I have been in the car audio business for the last 12 years. This is the first time i have expirenced this. My routes that i drive on a daily basis are the same as my last vehicle.
