Default Hidden owners manual & DVD in Durango

Did it take anyone else a month to find the actual manual & DVD in their Durango? I found it by accident.

My dealer gave me mine as I bought it 6 or 8 days after it arrived. It did take me reading about it on here to find the slot for it to go in above the glove compartment... Till then I had it IN the glove compartment.

I'm sure y'all know this but for new comers...

The 2 sets of manuals being refereed to are quite different. The one my dealer handed me is the Users Guide, some tire other pages and the DVD Owners Manual in a leather pouch. This fits nicely in the slot above the glove compartment...

The manuals I got by calling the number above are 5 or 6 different Owners Manuals that more closely match the DVD of the users guide. I see why they don't ship those with the truck.

Funny .... my dealer gave me the manual, DVD and the leather holder when we bought the car. It's been sitting in the glovebox.

After reading this, I went out to check out the little compartment, and stick the manual in there, but there's another set already in there LOL. It's still shrink wrapped and everything.

So I took the shrink wrapped copy and put it in the Durango file, with the window sticker, invoice, dealer key ID tag, etc ... and put the opened set in the slot. I figure when we go to sell in 5,7, 10 years, having all the original stuff will be valuable

Dealer took mine out and just gave me the little leather case and the manuals. I also called Dodge and got the giant book of manuals as well.
