Question Solenoid clicking noise

I posted a thread earlier about a clicking noise I have from underneath when I accelerate and when I come to a stop. It happens at around 10 mph. A loud click occurs everytime, you just wait for it when you are driving. Very annoying for a fairly expensive auto. Dealer admits to a noise but cant locate exactly. Did a software update but didnt solve problem. I am told that it is up to Dodge engineers now. What does that mean? They say that they cant go any further. Is anyone else experiencing a similar noise or am I alone on this one. Hoping someone else has a corrective action. Starting to wonder about mine, it is a early production and maybe they corrected some of these things as assembly progressed. Any help or info would be appreciated.

It is no wonder why dealers have a bad reputation,

I get the same solenoid click, but only when the active cruise control is hitting the brakes. My dealer told me it's normal, and I basically ignore it now. Maybe it's a cheap solenoid (ie. loud).

hi

Just got a 5.7 Durango Crew 2012 and i am experiencing the clicking noise at low speeds. It's annoying when the windows are down and the noise causes me to worry that something is not right.

Has anybody figured out what this noise is?

thanks,

G
