Yes, there are a couple of plugs on the under side of both passenger and driver that need to be pulled out. They're small and black. Maybe a little bigger than a quarter. Hope this helps.

Here's a pic of the nerf bars on my D :

The following URL has some more pictures of them installed on a D :

I bought them from ebay though. Here's the link:

They are a bit cheaper than the one quoted on the truckchamp Web site (180ish).

How was the install? Also, hows the quality? I was just looking at the same ones on ebay.

Quality is good (at least so far). I personally feel that these nerf bars fit the vehicle very well. Although a mopar fan, I feel that these bars compliment the vehicle much better than the mopar ones. They dont hide the chrome bottom at the door.
I actually got the dealer to install this while I had taken the D for an oil change. Didnt have the space and was too paranoid that I may do something wrong. However, seeing the parts... it didnt seem to be difficult to get it done.

Yes, it was a bit of a pain to get started on the bolts. Not sure which style you got but, I'm really liking how Krauty's chrome bars look. Fits the chrome side rail nicely. Maybe I'll swap mine....if I can convince the Dealer to uninstall/reinstall the new ones. Sorry, I meant "aniduda"'s bars...very sweet!

I installed these over the weekend. Not too terribly difficult to install. Most of the time was spent sorting out the nuts/bolts; they all came in one big bag...very annoying. Also, the instructions are in paragraphs format and very difficult to follow at times! If anyone has questions let me know.
