I like the stance but I think the grill is a bit much and I’m pretty sure the pic is a rendering not a physical concept.

 

Oh yes...that thing would be awesome!! I would certainly buy a Durango SRT8...not much draws me to them right now. But an SRT would bring me into the showroom.

I want a Grand Cherokee, simply for the SRT package on it. Other than that....nothing says "buy me".

 

The article is completely useless. I'm not sure what is worse, the writing, the lack of one single thing new, the fact we are reposting it or the photoshopped grille in the photo.

I spoke to Dodge royalty MYSELF and in person last month and was quoted on the ModernMorparMagazine.com article personally about the possibility of the Gen3 D SRT8 edition.

Will it happen? Absolutely... maybe.

And when that certain uncertainty happens, I guarantee it will look better than that sixth grader photohack backed by all the resources Edmunds could put together in that award winning exposé.

SRT8 Durango would be cool, but I would pefer a Supercharged V6 pumping 460 HP and 420 LBS Torque in a Heat Model (Less Weight)

 

Maybe the turbo pentastar will get near those numbers.....
