Ordered these in 22x9.5 with 285/40-22's. Should bulk up a black R/T nicely. Photos to follow. BTW, going for a Durango SRT of my own, since they are not yet doing it at Dodge.
Yeah the tires are a little thin but the setup looks good. I would go with a different style of rim myself but like the theme. Wonder whats the style and size of those rims are?
What size tires is everyone running with 22x9s? I want to try to avoid losing ride quality and speedo getting off cal. Any help would greatly be appreciated.
its a fact of life that you cannot avoid, if you go to a thinner sidewall tire ride quality will change, in most cases become stiffer bc there is less flex in the sidewall of the tire to absorb impacts, if you want a smoother ride DONT DO IT.
also this exponentially increases your chances of damaging a rim

...and blowing out or bubbling a very expensive tire.
All of these setups are great for show but not for go. Even manufacturers understand that. Concept cars are always shown with supper thin tires because the look cool. The real cars that hit the street come from the factory with "normal" tires. Cars meant to be tracked come with progressively thinner tires, but tracks don't resemble streets that no one wants to pay to repair.
