Default Rear emblems

I just purchased a new crewlux and was wondering if you can take off the rear dodge and crew letters?? My last car had posts on a few letters leaving hole if removed. Has anyone tried this?

Thank you

Most Dodge products just use double stick tape, not saying the D does but there is a good chance. I am sure somebody has debadged their D on here and will jump in to help you. I can tell you once you get it off this is the best thing since sliced bread to remove the sticky backing left on the vehicle.

Believe me it is well worth your money, makes the task easy as pie and does not damage to the paint, reminds you of using a pencil eraser, the flakes you have to brush away with your hand. Just take a clean dry rag and dest away the remains and it looks perfect. I have used it on three of my vehicles and one had decal package all the way around the bottom of it, well worth the money! Good luck and welcome to the forum!

Edit:
I forgot to mention NAPA had this in their store but I paid close to $40.00 for it, still worth it. There are also some youtube vids of it in work if you need more proof.
I also just noticed I have only 11 posts in 6 years, lol. I forgot I joined this forum till I tried to join today and it said my user name was already taken....lol. I logged right in!

yup, debadged mine. 3m tape. i used the 3m remover spray, dental floss, and soap and water. took about 5 bucks and 10 minutes to take them off. little bit of elbow grease required.

I removed the chrome 'Durango' from mine, but left the 'R/T'..

@Buddafafa - Did you remove the 'Dodge' too? I thought that was molded in.

Yup, same! I remove the Durango and AWD on the left side and left the R/T on the right. Used dental floss over the summer on a warm (not hot day). Didn't even attempt the color matched 'DODGE' letters above the rear handle since they look pretty subdued.

Yes, dental floss will do the trick.

I do this to all my cars and I think it makes it look much better. I removed the durango and crew.

Just added Chrome R/T to my grill. I want people to know what's coming up behind them.
