Foglights and hibeams
That is not legal in the US. The computer controls the lights in our vehicles, so when you activate the hi beams, the fog lights automatically shut off.
I don't believe this is a requirement in Canada, so I think there is an option within StarScan to disable this for export, but I'm not sure.
Since the fog lights remain on when using the flash-to-pass on the left side stalk, that if there was a way for you to send that flash-to-pass signal from the stalk to the computer, you could probably get the fogs to stay on.
Why do you want to do this?

im not sure exactly how the law is written but i know that in most cases if you want fog lights on you DONT want high beams
the real reasoning behind wanting only fogs or highs is that they are for different types of driving (by design). the highs are meant for highway/country road driving where being able to see far ahead of you is important, the fogs are designed to shine low and close for diving in poor weather (mostly fog) where the highbeams would reflect back off the precipitation and blind you, or be distorted and reflected into and blind oncoming traffic
