Default So who does alot of towing?

I am looking into buying a 8.5 x 20ft slope nosed trailer to haul our C5 Corvette and Model A Roadster.
With the Corvette we will be around 7100 lbs total for trailer and car. For those of you who tow alot and around this weight whats your thoughts on how the Durango performs?
We are rated for 7500lbs towing and I do have the factory towing option on our 2011 R/T

Here is the trailer we are going to order

Thanks in advance

Dennis

You should be fine. Just change your transmission fluid more than required by the manual.

Also they have weight distribution hitches that you can buy and attach to the tung of the trailer and that might help some. But yeah you should be fine, if you have to go up any steep grades (inclines) you might want to watch some of your temps just to be safe.

I had a 2009 Ram Hemi and regularly towed around 9800 lbs and was good but i did change the gears to 4.56 front and rear and added a locker.

Flat except for those bridges that climb over the intracoastal waterways and causeways in the coastal areas. The grade on some of those is pretty amazing.
