I want to do something with the exhaust on the R/T because of the gargle that you get right as the truck shifts gears at full throttle.

I just cant justify spending $1,500 on an exhaust for a SUV.

Alcon,

I am trying to figure out which system would sound best on my 2011 Citadel. I have seen two CLIPS on YOU TUBE and a Video from a Mufflex Perfromance out of PA.

The first VID is a RT from Florida with a Custom Built Exhaust.

The second is a dealer with a CITADEL with a Flowmaster System

The Third is from MUFFLEX out of PA, they remove the resonators and run straight tips out the back.

I am not wanting a loud set up, just something better than stock. I would like to see what everybodys opinions is.

I'd love to do a Corsa as I had that on the G8 GXP I just sold, but they have no plans to release one. For me, the sound is only a part of it. Increased flow is very imp with the supercharger going on.

I have a problem with Custom exhaust because no matter how good the shop is there is no way of knowing how it will sound at WOT unless they have done it before and you can hear it in person.

Videos are never accurate in telling how an exhaust sounds...

Yes, that is why the top line companies are so expensive -- you're not paying for the bent pipes -- you are paying for the R&D it takes to find the right combo -- the size and flow of resonators and mufflers, etc. I'll post video and audio of the Borla system when it goes on.

I agree but I think it depends on the type of vehicle you are installing on. A Vette or Challenger- worth the extra. SUV?? Maybe but I dont think I will ever or very rarely go WOT on this truck and know my wife will not so an simple increase for a few hundred bucks works for me on this truck.
Im looking forward to your feedback on the sound as well as the install. Good luck.

I used to have a g8 gt myself and love the Corsas. Too bad no Corsas for the rt's. Look forward to seeing how the Borlas sound.

I spoke with CORSA a few months back and they were in the process of testing a system for the new Durango. They said its very similar to the new Grand Cherokee set up they already have released. But they did say they will be releasing a system for Durango very soon.
