I thought I would post for other owners, in the last 4 months my wife and I have taken our durango to the dealership 6 times for a CEL. They kept telling me my wife didnt know how to screw on the gascap, the previous to last time they replaced an o2 sensor to try and replace the problem. Finally a new tsb came out per the dealer theres a problem with the fuel filler neck & gas cap. They will be replacing those two items and it will hopefully fix those codes.


I have the crew trim if that matters.

No the dealer wouldnt give it to me, they said the manufacturer doesnt allow them to.

 

i hope you were wearing your high boots bc that sounds like giant load of BS to me, TSBs are public information (i checked the NHTSA website but couldnt find any for the fuel fill setup)

 

Purge valve problems often throw a code stating that the gas cap is not tightened correctly. This issue is rampant in the MB community.

 

BullSh*t, tell them you want their dealer number and your going to call corporate if you get the TSB. That usually helps when they are being dicks.
