Default Mufflex Exhaust Tips, Mufflers deleted

I know this is not the venue for a Parts FOR SALE post but most 3rd gen readers hang out here.

I bought a my Wife a set Exhaust Tips from Mufflex and installed them on Saturday afternoon. On Sunday morning I removed becasue she complained they were to loud. We put about 10 miles on them and I cannot rtn them now.

They are back in the box and sitting in the garage. Willing to take the loss on the sale, paid $269.00 before shipping. Will sell for $200.00 and ship to reasonable location via FED EX.

They will fit 2011/2012 with a Hemi. If you want to go see the video, go to

http://www.mufflex-performance.com/

Installation was very simple, hardest part was cutting the passenger side muffler off. Instructions are included in the box.

Please PM if interested.

Was it Drone that bothered her or was it the actual loudness of the exhaust? Are these direct bolt on axel backs? Thanks.

Miami R/T

The only time it was noticeably louder was on initial start and as the idle calmed down it had a very nice low rumble. When driving it was harldy noticeable to me and I could really only tell a diff when taking off from a Stop Light. I drove and watched it when it went into ECO and it actually seemd to get quieter.

The Drivers side is a Direct Bolt and the passenger side has to be cut 2" before the Rear Hanger and then clamped on. It is very clean design and very simple install. The hardest part was jacking up the back end enough to get SAW ZAW underneath for access. Took me < hour to do both sides.

I was able to put the originals back on in < 30 minutes, had to install 2 1/4 sleeve adapter. I will take it down to a Muffler guy I know and get it restored back to original look.

I saw that kit on Ebay and just went to local shop and had them make it with 5" tips instead of the 4" with that kit for $140 OTD. But mine was welded on not bolt on like your kit. More or less I stole the design.
